Buckby to Braunston

Decided to have a lay in as it is Sunday. Had breakfast before setting off to Braunston only short trip and managed to team up with another hire boat to go through the locks so not an arduous day. Arrived in Braunston at 2pm and decided on a make do and mend afternoon. Cleaned out the bathroom shower sump and filled the stern gland greaser (this being in the Engine Room and not some wonderful new invention in the Loo) We are eating at the Boathouse this evening ( where we met up with Chris, Dave, Barbara and John from Tenerife last year) So a haircut for Tom before going ashore as we need to keep up appearances.
