Eynsham to Oxford with Chris and Dave

Dave and Chris arrived at 11am as arranged and as the weather didn't look too bad we decided to go on a cruise from Eynsham to Oxford. To facilitate this Chris and Dave kindly offered to take the bus back to Eynsham as we knew it would be quite a late finish to the day. While the two girls caught up with family goings on etc. we boys took the tiller up the blunt end for the journey down. I gave Dave a few brief instructions on steering the boat and he took to it like a duck to water navigating us round some tricky bends and channel markers.
When we arrived at Oxford the heavens opened so we got a mooring and decided to have lunch on board and very enjoyable it was too, food wine/beer and friends a perfect combination. After lunch the rain cleared and we went ashore for another brief look around Oxford. After a coffee we said our farewells (it was unbelievably 8pm)  Chris and Dave went off to the bus station which we had found earlier and we went back to NB Lottie

We had a really good day with lots of laughs along the way Thanks for your company C&D

Fame at Last

It's either a cheap surf board, or they were made to walk the plank and take it with them
Blimey I thought it was Jake the Peg again but no it's Dave the Tiller man
( Well I couldn't make him look better than me could I)
